My name is Fowzia, and some people called me Zia. Welcome to my salon, Zia hair, and henna salon. The aim is to make your dreams of beauty enhancement come true with excellent quality services.

From my teenage, I have had a strong passion for hairdos and treatments. I even tried every color on my hair, as well as miraculous hair treatments. I moved to America, and here I got the opportunity to join many jobs as a career, but my built-in passion for becoming a hairdresser never died until I entered that field.

In 2014 I graduated from Paul Mitchell, the school in Nashville, Tn, with texture honor. After that, I was blessed to assist the hair colorist & salon honor, having experience of 35 years in Tennessee for almost two years that remained helpful to groom my skills & expertise relevant to my passion.

I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, six years ago, and here I gave physical shape to my dreams in the form of Zia hair & Henna salon. We are working with curly and coarse hair, creating beautiful colors, cuts, and styles that can be worn every day.

I am aware of and sensitive to the challenges of finding the right products and suitable styles for women with textured hair. I am from East Africa, and I faced those challenges. With my diverse culture and professional experience of 8 years working with kinky, coils, curly and wavy hair, I can provide you professional solutions to make you look fabulous! In addition, I want to make your time with me a pleasant and relaxing break in your day. My salon offers henna designs that add beauty to your personality.  The salon also provides makeup ranging from a casual party to bridal makeup that makes you look beautiful, elegant & a beauty queen.
